The week-long Festival of French Film in Leipzig, held annually since 1995, exclusively screens French and Francophone films in their original language – mostly with subtitles. The festival is supported and advised by the Institut Français Leipzig and is a collaboration between Passage Kinos and Schaubühne Lindenfels.
